REACT SUPPORT PROGRAM TO COVER BUDGET CUTS DUE TO CRISIS

This is a message for our members which are confronted with huge sales drops and as a consequence sincere budget cuts and therefor no longer in the position to support anti-counterfeiting actions.

Yesterday you should have received an email from us offering our support. React jointly with you has developed a global network to fight counterfeiting. We are not giving up on this! To protect your business; to protect your consumers and to encourage law enforcement which are supportive to our goals to free the world from fakes.

Bear in mind, the lights in the Chinese factories have been switched on. You know what that means. We see the increase of online offerings of counterfeited products already. This is not the time to open up the gates!

The program we introduce is to offer our legal and administrative support at the most favorable terms!! in order to continue  the anti-counterfeiting operations. The program is meant for  April and May and possible extension to June. It applies to the industries affected heavily by the crisis. More about it you will find in the mail.

Furthermore, we have quickly introduced contingency schemes in various countries including China, obviously to put the burden of anti-counterfeiting operations on the infringers.

And, we have at least temporary expanded our scope of work to assist rights owners in the identification of other undesired trade like parallel import.
