React resolves 4 Chinese domain name disputes with one consolidated complaint

More and more trademark infringers register confusingly similar domain names to the brand owner’s company name or mark and impersonate the official website of the brand, which may include (unauthorized) resellers registering multiple domains thus preventing the brand from using its mark on the Internet in the form of domain name.

React’s team in China, with its own experience of tackling various Chinese registrars and domain disputes, assisted the React members to take down 4 .CN domains in one complaint via HKIAC (the Hong Kong domain name arbitration center) recently. It is the first attempt to combine the 4 domains, and consolidation was accepted even considering that the legal rights, complainants, nor registrars were the same. This case achieves the goal of lower cost and high efficiency to settle the .cn domain name disputes.
