Kenya introduces a formal Customs Recordation system

React is pleased to announce that the Kenyan Anti-Counterfeiting Authority (“ACA”) has introduced a formal Customs Recordation System for rights owners, which is in effect from August 2nd, 2021.

As a result, Kenya will be added to the list of countries in which React can now offer formal customs protection services for its members. This new implementation is expected to increase the amount of seized counterfeit goods in Kenya by a considerable margin and is an important step in the country's anti-counterfeiting activities.
