The Anti-Counterfeiting Network

    Event

    AGM2026

    Date

    16 - 17 April 2026

    Location

    SS Rotterdam, Rotterdam, The Netherlands

    The venue

Some ships tell stories, and then some ships are stories. The SS Rotterdam is one of those rare vessels that bridges the gap between past and present, between a world that has long since disappeared and a future that continues to look back at her in awe. Built as Holland America Line’s flagship and launched in 1958, she was the last Dutch Ship of State and remains one of the most successful ocean liners ever constructed. Unlike so many of her contemporaries, she was not lost to the scrapyard. Instead, she was saved, preserved, and lovingly restored. Today, she stands in the heart of Rotterdam as a floating hotel and museum – a living monument to an era when ships were more than just transport; they were icons of national pride.

Advancing Anti-Counterfeiting: From Principles to Global Standards

Know Your Business Customer (KYBC) is more than a prerogative—it is a global responsibility. Legal frameworks and government ambitions alone haven’t driven intermediaries to act decisively. Now is the time for a stronger, unified strategy to reinforce online, customs, and civil enforcement worldwide.

The evening - This years dresscode

We’ve chosen a unique venue for this year: the former Holland‑America Line. All meetings and social events will take place aboard the SS Rotterdam, a beautifully preserved cruise ship that still carries its original charm. To honor the maiden voyage of the SS Rotterdam in 1959, we’d love for you to join us in style from 6 pm onward. Our Thursday‑evening social program will embrace a smart‑casual, cruise‑inspired vibe. No dress‑code worries; nothing is mandatory, and we provide a small finishing touch to help everyone get into the spirit: the famous skinny ties are ready for the gentlemen, and for the ladies, we have stylish headbands.

If you’re looking for a bit of inspiration, think of evening fashion in the late 50’s/early 60’s “Elegant Cruise – Smart Casual” 🙂
